Itinerary:

So, trying out a a new hike today in the northern part of the city.

This hike will go from Finch West Station to Downsview Park Subway Station for an 11.5 KM route.

This hike will be completely on paved trails going along the Black Creek and up through Downsview Park.

There's probably about 2 really challenging hills on this route (just to make you suffer). A couple other short ones, just to make it interesting.

We'll have the rare 2 washroom breaks on the walk, about 1.25 and 2 hrs into the hike, for the options.

I usually carry a pair of icers with me from the first snowfall of the year until the end of April, so I recommend having a pair in your pack to deal with any potential ice. You can find the pair I use, 'here from Amazon'.
