Itinerary:

This is just a quick event that takes us down to the Evergreen Brickworks for their Brewers Backyard event.

The brewers backyard is an event that the Brickworks has been doing over holiday weekends for a couple years now. Its an event that features several brewers and their beer. The event runs until 5 PM.

However, to get to the brickworks, you have to drive, take the bus or walk. Since I'm down for walking, might as well do a quick hike.

This hike will be just 2 KM and will take us from Castle Frank into the Don Valley. This route will end at the Brickworks, so it will be up you to get back to the subway station. There is a free shuttle bus from the Brickworks to Broadview Station or you can grab a TTC bus, which takes you to Davisville Station.

The breweries attending today are Big Rig Brewery, Black Oak Brewing, Collective Arts Brewing, Eastbound Brewing Company, The Exchange Brewery, The Indie Alehouse and Shacklands Brewing Co.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Castle Frank Subway Station is located on the Bloor Subway Line, two stops east of Yonge Station.

Let's meet beside the collectors booth at the Castle Frank Road Exit. That exit is the eastern exit from the platform, also the one with the escalator. If you don't know where the eastern side of the platform is, then follow the direction of the eastbound train. Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt
