Itinerary:

This 11.8 km hike will go between Warden Station to Leaside, ending at my fav fish and chips joint on Laird Avenue, i.e., Old Yorke Fish and Chips. Note that the menu does offer other options such as salads, weight watcher, et al, LOL! Also of note, the restaurant does not take reservations, but it is a spacious venue so I do not expect us to wait for a long time. Old Yorke Fish and Chips

We will be hiking through Warden Woods to Victoria Park Station, along Taylor Creek Trail, and a short section through Crothers Woods to the venue. The terrain will be mostly flat except for some hilly sections in Crothers Woods.

There are a number of buses leaving right outside the venue on Laird; OR a 10-minute walk to Eglington Avenue; OR 45-minute walk to Yonge & St. Clair Station.

Please note the following TTC Scheduled Subway Closure:

Line 1: Sheppard-Yonge to St Clair weekend closure August 24 and 25
