This is a weekday daytime hike!

With optional Fish+Chips at the 6 km point


PACE: 5 km/h


Maximum Group Size: 12 because the restaurant does not take reservations. On previous events we did not have to wait long to find seating for about 12

There is a great fish and chips place in Leaside. Let's hike 6 km, have lunch, then hike another 4 km back to Davisville.
The restaurant is at the 6 km point. If you want to hike only and not have lunch you could catch a bus after 6 km.
OR, there are other restaurants and fast food places in the area, so you could also meet us after we have fish and chips to complete the 10 km with us.

Along a mix of paved, gravel and dirt paths. We will be walking thru the cemetery
There may be a few short muddy areas on the path

We'll be meeting at Davisville subway Station, on the southwest corner of Davisville and Yonge.




This hike will go forth snow, rain or shine

Please arrive before the start time, we will start promptly at the start time.

  • Gate hours: Mount Pleasant Cemetery
  • Daylight Saving to September 30th: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • October 1st to Eastern Standard Time: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Eastern Standard Time to Daylight Saving: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
