So, I'm not straying too far from home for today's hike.

This hike will primarily involve walking through York Cemetery and one ravine.

Overall, the hike is about 6 KM and will be a loop, both starting and finishing at North York Centre Station. There will be one uphill on this route, but its not too tough.

We'll pass a washroom about 45 minutes into the hike, but I'm not sure if it's going to be open. If you need to go, I'd suggest using the startbucks close to where we will be starting the hike at North York Centre.

Please note that there is a subway closure today between St. Clair and Union Station.

We'll meet outside the Starbucks at North York Centre Subway Station. The Starbucks is located on the west of Yonge St and on the north side of Mel Lastman Square and across the street from Empress Walk Mall.

For those driving:

There is street parking in the area, west of Beecroft Rd

Or, there's a pay parking lot on the North- East corner at Empress/Park Home and Yonge Street, which is three traffic lights north of Sheppard Ave. Then it's just a short walk to the Starbucks, which is located on the south-west side.
