Humber Valley Heritage Trail 22 km (11/4/2017)

DISTANCE: 22 km

PACE: about 5.5 km/h (a lively pace)

DIFFICULTY: D4 (because of the distance, pace and terrain)

This hike is for strong intermediate and advanced hikers. There are lots of hills, challenging terrain, and we will maintain a lively pace.
If you have not hiked with me on a D4 previously, please send me an email describing your recent hiking experience (in the past 3 months)
on hikes of 20+ km at the quick pace of 5.5 km/h. That is mandatory for your participation on this hike.
There will be no dropouts on this hike. If you can not hike this distance at this speed, please do not sign up for this hike.

The map above shows our approximate route and distance 1 way. This is a there and back hike.
We will stop for a lunch break along the trail

MAX hikers: about 12 (+ or -)
I set the Maximum Group Size to 4, because I can take 3 passengers, but this event can accommodate about 12 hikers.
Passengers will be added as additional drivers become available.

Members on the waiting list who are willing to drive may get priority.
Alternatively, you can drive and meet us at the hike starting location.

If you will be using the TTC to get to the carpool, it is your responsibility to plan ahead and plan to leave plenty of travel time to arrive before the departure time.
