Almost FAST Finch to East Don Parkland Loop 14km (9/19/2017)

DIFFICULTY: D4 - pace will be quick, no straggling !!

Along a mix of paved, gravel and dirt forest paths. There are no serious hills on this hike.

The fine print

  • This is a workout hike for strong hikers, IT IS NOT A CASUAL STROLL.
  • Everyone will be expected to keep up with the group

This is the route we will take.

  • Start at Finch Subway Station
  • east through the Hydro corridor
  • around the East Don Parkland
  • back to Finch Subway Station

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Finch Subway Station is on the Yonge- University subway line. It is the terminal station at the very north end on the Yonge subway line.
We will meet at the passenger pick and drop off Kiss 'N Ride which is on the WEST side of Yonge St. NW corner of Yonge St + Hendon Ave
If you see a whole bunch of GO buses and TTC buses you are on the wrong side of Yonge St.

If you are driving, TTC parking is $2 after 3:00 pm.

Enter Finch West Parking Lot from the west side of Yonge Street, just north of Hendon Road; or from the north side of Hendon Road, just west of Yonge Street. Capacity is 1,552 spaces.
