Ice Cream: Leslie to Markham Loop 17 km (7/9/2017)

DIFFICULTY: D3.5 (because of the distance, although the terrain is mainly flat)


Let's hike to get Kawartha Dairy ice cream!! along a mix of dirt, gravel and paved, fairly flat paths.

You can come for the hike even if you don't want ice cream.


This is the route we will take.
(we may do the route in reverse of what the above map shows)

  • Start at Leslie station (S.W. Corner of Leslie & Sheppard)
  • do some hiking, blindly follow the person in front of you (no one reads these details anyway)
  • get ice cream. eat ice cream.
  • go back to Leslie station

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

We'll be meeting at the South-West corner of Sheppard & Leslie intersection, which is just outside the easternmost part of Leslie Subway Station.
Leslie station is located on the Sheppard Subway Line.

If arriving on the Subway line, please exit the station following the signs marked "TO LESLIE STREET"

This hike will go forth snow, rain or shine

(although kerfuffles, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, tornadoes, general discombobulation and consternation, or hurricanes may cause cancellation)
