Itinerary:

Come join Steph and Rocky as she tries to figure out her new multi functional GPS gadget and Rocky plays off leash in one of his favourite forest tracts.

This area of the Oak Ridges Moraine is the headquarters of the York Regional Forest and is in my opinion, the prettiest part of the forest tracts in the York region. It is a very well used and easy to hike area that spans between Hwy 48 and Ninth Line. Many of the trails are unmarked and not mapped so this will be a good opportunity to try out my new toy - a GPS unit with all the bells and whistles.

This will be an easy hike of less than 5 km, very little hills and good footing. Perfect for getting out of the house for some fresh air and afterwards we can head to the Lion pub in Stouffville for some of their great food and drink.
