Last Minute - Fitness hike - Finch to East Don Parkland Loop 11k (4/2/2017)

DIFFICULTY: D3 DISTANCE / D4 PACE

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER HIKE! IF YOU ARE NOT SURE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO KEEP UP THE PACE PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP.

This hike will be along a mix of paved, gravel and dirt paths, with a few small hills.

We'll start and end at Finch Subway Station

This is the route we will take.

  • Start at Finch Subway Station
  • east through the Hydro corridor
  • loop the East Don Parkland
  • back to Finch Subway Station

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Finch Subway Station is on the Yonge- University subway line. It is the terminal station at the very north end on the Yonge subway line.
We will meet at the passenger pick and drop off Kiss 'N Ride which is on the WEST side of Yonge St. NW corner of Yonge St + Hendon Ave
If you see a whole bunch of GO buses and TTC buses you are on the wrong side of Yonge St.

Look for me with a whistle on my backpack.

Enter Finch West Parking Lot from the west side of Yonge Street, just north of Hendon Road; or from the north side of Hendon Road, just west of Yonge Street. Capacity is 1,552 spaces.
