Itinerary:

DISTANCE: 20 km

PACE: 5+ km/h (a lively pace)

DIFFICULTY: D4

You MUST have Icers / Traction Devices with you on this hike.
The reason: lots of hills and without icers you will not be able to keep up with the group, and you increase your risk of serious injury

MAX hikers: about 12 (+ or -)
I set the Maximum Group Size to 4, because I can take 3 passengers, but this event can accommodate about 12 hikers.

Members on the waiting list who are willing to drive may get priority.
Passengers will be added as drivers become available.

Alternatively, you can meet us at the hike starting location.

The Seaton Trail is a really nice hike that is not a long drive from the city. I have hiked on it over 25 times.
This is a "there and back" hike on a dirt path through the forest along West Duffins Creek.
There will be many hills to climb,
a few sections may be muddy or icy and there are rocks and roots on the trail,
good hiking boots/hiking shoes are highly recommended.

We'll stop for a lunch break on the trail

If you cannot hike the entire distance at 5+ km/h, please do not sign up for this hike.

DRIVERS, WHEN YOU SIGN UP, PLEASE ANSWER THE CARPOOL QUESTION REGARDING THE # OF PASSENGERS YOU CAN TAKE IN YOUR CAR!!!
