Itinerary:
We will drive up to Algonquin Park on Friday night, eating somewhere along the way. We will camp at entry point 4 at Rain Lake friday night, and set off Saturday morning. Saturday we will make our way to Wenona Lake, a 12 to 15 km paddle with 6 protages, none longer than 600m. Sunday we will be gin our return to the entry point, and stay at Jubilee lake, about halfway back. Monday we will continue back to the entry point and head back to toronto. This trip is for members who have expereince canoeing and who are physically fit. You will be canoeing for 4 to 5 hours the first day, and be expected to carry 40-50lbs on the portages. There will be a MANDATORY pre-meeting for this event on thursday august 23rd.

Required Items to Bring:
tent sleeping bag food bedroll backpack or canoepack sunscreen, hat group items such as stoves, rope, pots and pans, etc.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $113.52 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Saturday, May 11, 2024). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.

Notes:
payment must be recieved by Tuesday august 21st, or you will be removed from the trip. There will be no refunds for cancellations made after this date
- Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the TOC's possession by that date. No exceptions.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with full refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where TOC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refund of money if you cancel.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in TOC events.
