Christmas is coming to the Brickworks!!!We're going to venture on down to the Christmas village and enjoy some holiday spirit and cheer :) Here's a link to the Brickworks Christmas Village: https://www.evergreen.ca/whats-on/wintervillage/

This route is almost 8 km in total; relatively easy terrain, with one large hill at the end. We will start at Davisville Station, catch the Kay Gardiner Belt Line over to the Mt.Pleasant Cemetery and catch the Mooredale Beltline to the Brickworks farmer's market, where we'll stop for about 45 minutes to enjoy the holiday market. Afterwards, we'll continue along the Beltline trail, and cross Mt. Pleasant to take the David Balfour Park trail back to St. Clair subway Station.

We will be walking at a pace of 5 km or higher pace. We will stop for short breaks as needed.

Required Items to Bring:

Whatever you need to walk quickly, safely and comfortably, and also to stay well hydrated. THE TRAIL CAN BE QUITE MUDDY in places, so please make sure you CHOOSE FOOTWEAR APPROPRIATE FOR THE TERRAIN.

We will meet at the front entrance of Davisville subway station, at street level.

Davisville subway station is on the Yonge line, between Eglinton and St. Clair stations.

THIS HIKE WILL BE CANCELLED IN THE EVENT OF HEAVY RAIN, IN WHICH CASE I WILL NOTIFY PARTICIPANTS BEFOREHAND.
