Since I joined the TOC 3.5 years ago I have hiked 5,143 km with the club.
So to mark this arbitrary milestone...
Let's hike to a Japanese restaurant that has Teppanyaki cooking tables.
The chef will cook our food on an iron griddle right in front of us.

When I was scouting some new trails in the area a few days ago, I saw a large coyote about 15m away.
For about a spine tingling 1 minute, it looked at me, I looked at it, both wondering if 1 would eat the other, then we both turned around and went on our way.
In the past we have usually seen 1 or more deer in this area.

Have a look at the cooking table menu HERE

IMPORTANT:

This event consists of the hike + the dinner!
Anyone who signs up for this hike, must be willing to come to dinner or else you'll be taking a spot from someone else
Since I have to reserve seats around the cooking table, sign up for this event ONLY if you are sure you will join us.
Anyone cancelling after the registration cut off will be given a no-show
Registration cut off is: Sat, Nov 12 2016 3:30 PM

This is the route we will take.
