NOTES:

==> If you have not hiked with me before please send me an email and tell me what recent
hiking (within the past 2 months) you have done that would be similar to the distance and pace of this hike.
I need to receive your email before I can consider adding you to this event.

==> Please sign up for this hike only if you are sure you can walk the entire distance at the specified pace.
No straggling. No drop outs on this hike. You have to keep up with the group.

==> Although this trail is very flat and very straight, what makes it interesting is how flat, straight and potentially boring it could be. However, along the way we will probably see a donkey with goat friends on picnic tables (I did when I was there a while ago scouting the trail), and maybe a couple of llamas. We'll have lunch by the Grand River, then walk a short way to see the West Montrose Kissing Bridge, which is the last covered bridge in Ontario. Then turn around and hike back to the start. Our hike will mostly take us through farmland. Much of the way, the trail is flanked by trees and bushes which will provide shade.

The Kissing Bridge Trailway (KBT) runs from Guelph to Millbank, 45 km one way!
The trail passes through rural communities, by rivers and wetlands along the right-of-way of a former railway.

MAX hikers: about 10 (+ or -)
I set the Maximum Group Size to 4, because I can take 3 passengers, but this event can accommodate about 10 hikers.
Passengers will be added as additional drivers become available.

Members on the waiting list who are willing to drive may get first priority.
Parking at the trail head is very limited, so let's minimize the number of cars we use to get there.
