Itinerary:
here is the website http://www.hanescornmaze.com/ Andrew held this event in Sept 2011, 14 of us ventured into the maze. It was tons of fun. So now I am posting it myself.

If (like past me) you have no idea what the Hane's Corn Maze is, it's pretty much like what it sounds. There are 12 acres of 10' tall corn with a built in maze. (It'll be just like Pan's Labyrinth! Fewer fascists and sad endings I hope... Now I can tell you're sold on this concept!)

Within the maze are 18 checkpoints. Some of which will be hidden. At each checkpoint there is a clue, and back at the start of the maze, a puzzle to solve.

We'll divide up into teams and see which of us can unravel it first :)

The whole thing is supposed to take 60-90 minutes they tell me.

Chapter 2: Denouement and Reckoning

After we've finished up with the Corn Maze (and while on our way back to Toronto) we'll deke off the highway into Waterdown for an 8km hike in the Grindstone Creek. While here, we'll circle around the "Great Falls". Which, as you might infer, are a set of waterfalls. Are they impressive? Mired in eternal wannabe status? I have no idea. We'll investigate and find out!

We'll try and keep a moderate "D3" pace of around 3.5-4kph. There are some hilly parts of this, and footing may be tricky so bring decent footwear.

Final Notes:

The meeting time for the carpool is 9:55AM at Downsview station. We'll meet by the subway entrance on the southside of Shepherd.

This is a two chapter adventure. If you sign-up, you're signing up for both halves.

Autumn is here, bring your snuggie or something else to keep you warm out there!
