Doors Open is an annual series of events, when many sites in Ontario communities open their doors to the general public. We'll cover two such sites in Stoney Creek, after a short hike along the Niagara Escarpment.

Hike (12 km at 3.5 km/hr)
We'll cover the Bruce Trail section between two waterfalls: Devil's Punchbowl and Felker's Falls (~10 km). On the way back, we'll take a short detour (~2 km) to the Battlefield Monument, if time permits. There is a parking fee at the Devil's Punchbowl, which will be added to the carpool costs.
Alpacas
After the hike, we'll drive to Alpacas from Eighth and Mud, a local farm. You can say hi to their alpacas, see how they process the alpaca fibre and explore the farm.
Winery
We'll end our day with a visit to the Ridge Road Estate Winery. In business since 1875, they have got a nice vineyard and a pretty tasting room, where they are offering complimentary wine tasting as part of Doors Open Ontario.
