Itinerary:
I've never been to the Outer Harbour East Headland before and it looks like it would be pretty cool, so let's go check it out. What is the Outer Harbour East Headland you ask? It is more commonly known as the Leslie Street Spit (which is, of course, erroneous because it isn't really a spit).

We'll meet at the south end of the parking lot at the entrance to Tommy Thompson Park and then hike along the park trail to the end of the point where I understand there is a lighthouse and a pretty sweet view of the skyline. After a short break, we will loop back to the start using a slightly different route.

The Rundown:
Distance: About 11km
Pace: About 4.5 km/h
Expected Time: 2.5 - 3 hours
Trails: Well established gravel and paved trails
Terrain: Very flat with no major hills or stairs
NOTE: I would probably rate this hike as a D2.5 if I could because aside from the distance it is a fairly easy walk.

See map below for the rough hiking route
