Since mid-2010, I've led the hike to the brickworks farmers market, 20 times, so I wanna have a go at one of the other farmers markets in the city.

This time, I'm gonna target the Wychwood Barns Farmers Market.

However, just walking or tramming (taking the streetcar) from St. Clair West Station is a tad bit boring, so let's do a short 3.5 KM route instead.

This route will start from St. Clair West Station and end at the Whychwood Barns and visit some sights such as Sir Winston Churchill Park, Casa Loma as well as Toronto's only 'gated community' Wychwood Park.

Just a warning for you beginner walkers, we will be going up the stairs at Casa Loma and there will be a hill closer to Wychwood Barns.

The hike will end at the Barns, so for those of you looking to head back to the subway, the St. Clair Streetcar is just a couple blocks north of the Barns, otherwise its about a 900 meter walk back to the station along St. Clair.

St. Clair West Subway Station is located on St. Clair east of Bathurst, west of Spadina. Look for me outside the south entrance of the station, which is across the street from the Loblaws.
