Itinerary:
We'll be hiking the trails in Rouge Park.

Meet Please meet by the TTC bus stop at the Toronto Zoo. Please arrive on time at 10:30AM
Distance Approx. 12 km
Pace 4.5 km/hour (average pace for fit and younger individuals, above-average pace for others)
Trail Conditions We are hiking on dirt trails, some of which are hilly.
End The hike is a loop hike. The hike will start and end at the TTC bus stop at the Toronto Zoo. Those taking transit can catch the 85B bus.
Difficulty Please note that this a D3 hike because of hilly trail conditions
Weather 15 degrees and sunny

START TIME:Please arrive on time!!! Aim to arrive early if possible. If coming by bus, expect the bus ride from Sheppard- Yonge Station to take 1 hour. Please arrive by 10:30AM. WE WILL LEAVE AT 10:37AM SHARP!

TRANSIT:Please note that only the 85 Sheppard East Bus goes to the Toronto Zoo on Saturdays. You can catch the bus at Don Mills or Yonge-Sheppard Stations. The Scarborough 86 Bus from Kennedy Station does not go directly to the zoo on the weekend - you'll have to transfer at Sheppard and Meadowvale.

PARKING:If coming by car, please note that the Toronto Zoo parking lot is a paid. Free parking can be found by the Friends of the Rouge Watershed house - it is a 5-10 minute walk over to the Toronto Zoo bus stops from the house.
