Ganaraska trail hike (5/26/2007)

Itinerary:
I have recently purchased the Ganaraska hiking trail guide and decided to check it out. We will hike in a wooded area and along the river bank of the Ganaraska River. The trail also follows an abandoned railway – Lindsay & Beaverton railway, built in 1857.

Participants must be able to hike at a pace of 4Km/hour.

You can still e-mail me after the cut-off date, till Friday at noon, and I will add you to the list if spaces are available.


Required Items to Bring:
Hiking boots with a good ankle support are recommended, sunscreen, bug repellent, appropriate clothing for the weather, ample water, lunch, snacks, hat .

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take 401 E to Port Hope, Take exit 461 for CR-2 toward Welcome/Port Hope, Turn left at CR-2/HWY-2/Toronto Rd, continue to follow CR-2/HWY-2 , Turn right at CR-74/Dale Rd, Turn left at Sylvan Glen Rd to the Sylvan Glen conservation area parking.
