Itinerary:
-Find your inner monkey and join your fellow TOC members in the trees on the beautiful Oak Ridges Moraine in Oshawa, Ontario, at the only AERIAL tree top adventure park in the Greater Toronto Area. The course is an elevated obstacle course suspended between the trees at 10 to 50 feet off the ground. There are several courses that are progressively more challenging. Some of the features of the courses include giant Tyrolean Zip lines, suspended bridges, swinging surprises, Tarzan swings, nets and much, much more. There is a 3-hour time limit for all reservations, and each reservation includes a ride on the BIG ZIP, which is 728 feet long!
-TreeGo offers the best equipment in its class and sets the standard for quality aerial adventure products and customer experience.
-Each participant is given a safety demonstration by a trained instructor before beginning the course and will receive full instruction on how to safely traverse the courses.
-For those of you who haven't tried treetop trekking, this is a great chance for you to experience the exciting thrills.

Required Items to Bring:
-money for car pool & voluntary donation
-sunscreen
-bug spray
-water (water bottles that can be attached to your harness system with a clip or can be put in side pockets can be taken on the course)
Please Prepare Yourself:
-Long hair MUST be tied back so as not to be caught in a pulley. Ask a staff person for a hair band if you require one.
-NO open-toed shoes. Sturdy sport shoes/boots are required and to be worn securely.
-If you have fingerless work out gloves or work gloves it is strongly recommended that you bring them. We do however have some for sale here at $5.00 a pair.
-Strongly recommend no jewelry (especially necklaces or loose bracelets which could get caught in equipment).
-Clothing should be appropriate for the weather and must be worn tight to the body to avoid catching on apparatus.
-Trees make sap. Sap stains clothes. Dress appropriately. Treetop Eco-Adventure Park is not responsible for damaged clothing.
Note: Guests not wearing the appropriate clothing or shoes may be refused access to activities to ensure that safety guidelines are met.

-Camera
-Pack your own lunch, and we can gather at the on site picnic tables after our adventure to replenish and reminisce about the experience.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Treetop Eco-Adventure Park is located on the Trillium Trails Conference and Banquet Centre property in north Oshawa, Ontario Canada. They are situated just 25 minutes north of Highway 401.

If you are a local resident follow Simcoe St. North past Durham College & UOIT, past Winchester Road, just north of White Feather Farms on the right off of Snow Ridge Court.

From Toronto, ON
Take highway 401 east to Thickson Road exit in Whitby. North on Thickson Road to Winchester Road, east at Thickson to Simcoe St, north on Simcoe Street left onto Snow Ridge Court and follow the signs.

If you are meeting at the event, please arrive by 9:30am; we are required to arrive 30 minutes before our start time to allow time to register, complete the liability forms, get our safety equipment on, and to run the practice course to ensure everyone understands how to use the equipment and climb safely. .

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $29.93 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Thursday, April 18, 2024). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.

Notes:
-If we secure 10-20 members, we will begin on the course at 10:00am; if we get more than 20 members, we will separate into 2 groups with one group departing at 10:00am and the other at 10:30am.
-Event goes rain or shine. Only severe weather conditions such as thunder, lightning, high winds and heavy down pours will temporarily close the courses. In the event that Treetop Eco-Adventure Park closes the courses and guests have been waiting for over 1 hour, guests can receive a RAIN check or REFUND depending on how far the customer was on the course before it closed.
-There is no weight limit for the courses, however the standard harness will not fit anyone over 275 lbs for men and 225 lbs for women.
-All members will be required to sign a waiver in order to participate in the event.

- Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the TOC's possession by that date. No exceptions.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with full refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where TOC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refund of money if you cancel.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in TOC events.
