Itinerary:
This hike will begin at Eglinton West Subway Station. From there we will head west on the Beltline Trail. Once we reach the end of the trail, we will meander in a generally southerly direction through some neighbourhoods and parks until we reach the Toronto Railpath. We will head south to Bloor Street and the hike will end at the corner of Bloor St W and Dundas St W near Dundas West Subway Station.

Following the hike I will be taking anyone interested in grabbing a slice to a nearby pizza joint, but this part of the event is optional.

The total distance is 9.6 km and we will be going at a moderate pace of about 4.5-5.0 km/h. I have planned a few short water breaks and will adjust according to the weather. The hike should take about two hours, and for those going for pizza I'd plan for another half hour or so as these slices are huge! This hike is entirely on paved trails and sidewalks, so I would suggest running shoes or light hiking shoes. It is a very flat route with only a few small hills.

Please arrive before the posted start time as we will be leaving immediately at 7:00pm.
