Itinerary:

I enjoy walking north along Humber River so this hike take advantage of cool spring day. We'll be heading north from Old Mill Station beside the river, head east through various parks to Weston Rd, then south to the Junction (Keele and Dundas).

The Junction has some lovely coffee shops and an excellent vegan bakery. I'll be stopping at both before continuing to High Park subway station. People are welcome to come with me or head straight to the subway on their own.

This hike is mostly on paved recreation paths and sidewalks. Please be aware that parts of the trail could still be a bit icy. Come prepared with good footwear.

We will be walking at a moderate pace (4 - 4.5 km/hr.), taking regular short breaks. This isn't the hike for you if you want go quickly.
