We will hike along a dirt path through the forest with several hills to climb,
some sections may be muddy and there are rocks and roots on the trail,
so hiking boots/hiking shoes are highly recommended.
there may be snow and ice on the trails, so icers, boot traction devices, are also highly recommended.

We'll stop for a lunch break about 1/2 way, (after hiking 10km) for about 15 minutes.

If you cannot hike the entire distance at this pace, please do not sign up for this hike.

Members willing to drive will get first priority on the waiting list.
Passengers will be added as drivers become available.

Alternatively, you can meet us at the hike starting location.

DRIVERS, WHEN YOU SIGN UP, PLEASE ANSWER THE CARPOOL QUESTION REGARDING THE # OF PASSENGERS YOU CAN TAKE IN YOUR CAR!!!

Expect the possibility of seeing geese or trout (in the sky and river, respectively).

DON'`T get left behind! Please arrive early, we will start promptly, and I will turn off my cell phone when we begin hiking.
