AFTERNOON HIKE: Mimico-Lakeshore 12k (4k/hr) (11/22/2014)

Itinerary:
We will be hiking along the Humber River and Royal York Road, south to Lakeshore, before meandering around Col. Samuel Smith Park. During the hike, we will make a short stop or two, including at the famous San Remo Bakery on Royal York for their famous deserts. The hike will end at Lakeshore and Islington. Those interested can join me after the hike at the Canadian Sufi Culture Centre for Sufi Music & Whirling Dervishes, which is something I have always wanted to see and experience.

Starting: 2:30pm, Old Mill Station - By the Ticket Booth

PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME - WE WILL LEAVE AT 2:37pm SHARP

End: 6:00pm, Lakeshore and Islington

Pace: We'll be hiking at a pace of 4k/hr, which is average for regular hikers, and above average for those who do not engage in regular exercise or who may be older.
