Itinerary:

The terrain is variable, rocky with a couple of hilly sections. Distance is about 23 km, pace is 4.5 km/h.

A large loop, combining the main trail with five side trails - starting at Rattlesnake Point, and then onto the Nassagaweya Canyon, Crawford Lake and Kelso Bluffs. Several scenic lookouts along the way.

This hike is suitable for intermediate hikers who like to step up the pace a bit. It is not suitable for beginners or those who prefer slower hikes. If it isn't obvious from your TOC record that you can do this hike, please, when registering, include some comments in the notes to convince me that you can keep up.

Those willing to drive, regular D4 hikers, and those with favourable attendance records may be given preference on the waiting list
