Let's enjoy a walk along the beach as the sun goes down. We'll meet at Main Station on the Danforth Line at 6:30pm sharp + walk down to the lake front through Glen Major park. From there we'll take the Waterfront (Martin Goodman) trail until we connect with the Don Valley trail and head north up to Broadview station. Beer is a notion at the end of the hike!! Sunset will be about 7:45 pm, hopefully it will be a good show! We will walk at a decent pace of 5-5.5 km per hour so be prepared to stick with the group. Dogs are welcome, but will need to be on a leash. Hiking in the rain doesn't bother me. If it's not for you please check the weather forecast the day before + remove your name from the list before the registration cut off! Priority on the waiting list will go to those with decent attendance records.

NO SHOWS: If you can't make it please remove yourself from the event by the cuttoff time. Anyone cancelling after that will receive an automatic No Show.

Required Items to Bring:

Proper footwear with good support. We will mostly be on paved surfaces.
Water 1-2 L and snacks
Sunglasses + rain gear (you never know...)

How to Get There:
Event Directions:MAIN STATION is along the Danforth Line, at Main St and Danforth. There may be some free parking in the 24 hour Sobeys at 2451 Danforth Ave if you are driving. We`ll meet in the parkette across the road from the station as there is not much room in the entrance. There are no washrooms on this hike.


Please arrive on time, I will turn my cell phone off once we start. There are no bathrooms!! Please do not leave me voicemail as I don't check it during an event.
