FALL COLOURS PHOTO WEEKEND

PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE LISTING BEFORE SIGNING UP!
DRIVERS WILL GET PRORITY

This is a photography weekend in Algonquin. It is not for hikers :)

We will drive up Friday afternoon and set up our camp. Depending on the weather we'll try for some night shots and also be up early for the sunrise. During Sat and Sun we'll check out some of the quieter trails looking for signs of wild life. Hopefully we will hear the wolves again at night, like last year! Sunday we will pack up camp mid morning and head out for some more shooting. We'll stop for an early dinner in Huntsville on the way back into the GTA. Please do not sign up if you need to return to the city early on Sunday! You must be prepared to stay with the group during the day hikes.

THIS IS A PHOTO WEEKEND, NOT A HIKING WEEKEND. We will stand around and take a million photos of the same thing. So it's ok if you don't have the newest or most expensive gear, but do not sign up if you want to log kms at a fast pace. You must stay with the group for the entire day.

GEAR: Bring a warm sleeping bag and mat as night temperatures can drop to 0C. There is an option to share food. Tents may have to be shared as we are only allowed a maximum of three on a site.

CONFIRM YOUR GEAR: Please email me details of your camera (DSLR or not), tent (number of people) If I don't receive an email from you then you will likely be deleted from the list or the waiting list.

MANDATORY PRE-TRIP MEETING: A mandatory pre-meeting is scheduled at 6:30 pm on Mon, Sept 22 to discuss the trip. If you cannot attend the pre-meeting, please notify me when you sign up.
