Leslie to Steeles Loop (12 km) (8/6/2014)

Itinerary:

This D3 hike will be 12 km along a mix of gravel and paved, fairly flat paths.

We'll start and end at Leslie Subway Station, maintaining a moderate pace of 4.5 km

Please note: we will meet on the south- west corner of the intersection. That means where Leslie intersects with Sheppard. See PICTURE OF STARTING LOCATION below.

Please arrive on time, we will start hiking promptly at the start time noted above, and I will turn off my cell phone when we start.

This is the route we will take.

  1. Start at Leslie station (S.W. Corner of Leslie & Sheppard)
  2. go north through parks to Steeles Ave.
  3. cross Leslie Street
  4. go south through parks and residential neighbourhoods
  5. End at Leslie station

  • Weather appropriate clothing

We'll be meeting at the South-West corner of Sheppard & Leslie intersection, which is just outside the easternmost part of Leslie Subway Station.
Leslie station is located on the Sheppard Subway Line.

If arriving on the Subway line, please exit the station following the signs marked "TO LESLIE STREET"
