Itinerary:

This event is focused on learning and improving the basics of Ultimate Frisbee play. While (time permitting) we'll have a scrimmage at the end, that is not the focus of this event. Participants should expect to spend the vast majority of the time practising and running drills - if that doesn't sound appealing, this is not the event for you :)

How else do I know if this is the event for me?

The target participants for this event are people who at least understand the basics of ultimate frisbee up through people who already play league at the Recreational level regularly.

This will primarily benefit people who want to or are currently playing league (TUC, TSSC, etc.)

What will happen at the clinic?

We'll run a series of drills focusing on improving your abilities in the following areas:

  • Throwing
  • Marking
  • Leading Cutters
  • Throwing With A Mark
  • Quadrant Defence
  • Basic Vertical Stack Offence
That's a lot to cover!

Who are you?

Leading this clinic are Darrel Nantais and Andrew Fell. We both regularly play "High Intermediate" level frisbee and tour with Toronto's entry level coed team: Mars Meet Venus (Co-captained by Darrel). Finding our love for frisbee through the Toronto Outdoor Club, this is a chance to teach and help our fellow members improve their own game!
