Itinerary:

I've decided to take up birding again but am rusty. So, let's see what we can observe together.

The terrain is easy. Distance (approx 7km) and pace will depend on how many birds we see. If there are no birds in one area, we'll continue to the next. This event is about exploring, not about walking fast. However, the pace from one area to another will be about 4.0 kph.

I don't have a cell phone, no texting, so please don't be late.

  2. Ferry Dock waters
  3. South Ward Island Beach & Wharf
  4. North side of Ward island by the water towards Centre Island
  5. Centre Island Wharf - south side of island
  6. South island Boardwalk
  7. The Rectory Cafe for lunch
  8. 1:45 PM Ferry back to Terminal

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

The Ferry Terminal is at the bottom (south end) of Bay St, and Queens Quay. Keep walking towards the water.
We will meet inside the terminal, after you pay, on the left, close to the washrooms. One adult fare is $7.00 for a return ticket.

Cost Includes:Buy ticket at the ferry dock; this includes return trip. If there's no one at the ticket wicket, buy ticket at the machine inside where you wait for the ferry. Exact change or credit card.
