The terrain is variable. Length of hike is 20 km for drivers, about 22 for passengers, pace is 4.5 km/h. Maps 3 and 4.

This hike is suitable for intermediate hikers. It is not suitable for beginners. Hikers coming on this event are expected to have D4 level experience. If you don't have a history with the TOC, please include some comments in the notes about your hiking experience.

We'll leave one car near the Jordan Access Trail which connects the Bruce Trail to the quaint rural Jordan Village, and shuttle to the Short Hills Provincial Park parking lot on Pelham Rd. We'll hike back through Short Hills Provincial Park, pass by Swayze Falls, Rockway Falls, Louth Conservation Area, Flat Rock Cellars winery, where we'll stop for lunch and optionally sample the wine, and end at Ball's Falls Conservation Area. We'll then retrace our steps a kilometer or so, where drivers will leave us to go back for the rest of the cars, and passengers will continue on the Jordan Access Trail to Jordan Village. We'll all meet up in Jordan. Jordan offers many delights, such as Toute Sweet.

Those willing to drive, regular D4 hikers and members with favorable attendance records may be given preference on the waiting list
