This out and back hike is in the Wilderness Section of the Ganaraska Trail. The Ganaraska wilderness is noted for its roughness and the poorly marked nature of the trail.

This hike is suitable for advanced hikers.Hikers coming on this event are expected to have D5 level experience and be able to maintain a 4.5 km/hr pace over difficult terrain.. Previous D5 level experience with the organizer is required.

We will be heading to the Victoria Bridge Access point and will aim to hike out 13.5k (27k total), trail conditions permitting. Along the way, we will traverse the forest, ravines, beaver dams and lakes. If we're lucky, we may see signs of bears, wolves, foxes, or actually see rare five-lined skinks. Note that there will be some beaver dam crossings; hikers must be prepared for wet feet! A change of shoes and socks is advised for the end of the hike in case of issues at the beaver dams.

Those willing to drive and regular D5 hikers will be given preference on the waiting list
