Itinerary:

We will hike south and eventually through Noisy River Provincial Nature Reserve. The total distance will be about 15-16 km. The terrain will be variable on the trail, and possibly slippery. We’ll stop for lunch when folks get hungry, hopefully coincident with a picturesque spot on the trail.

We will drive to the start of the hike, just south of the intersection of 15/16 Sideroad Nottawasaga & Concession 10 South Nottawasaga. Passengers will be dropped off and all cars will be driven and left at the end of the hike on Mulmur-Nottawasaga Townline, 550m east of Lavender Hill Road, across from the cemetery. We will return to the start in one car and join up with the passengers and start the hike.

Note that this hike will be at an average pace of at least 4km/h, and will also involve an end- to-end car shuttle so there can be no dropouts. Bring an extra layer to wear at the start of the day while waiting for the drivers to drop off the cars.
