GENTLE WALK - Rosedale Station (12 km, 4-4.5 km/h) (6/7/2012)

Itinerary:

Total distance is approximately 12 kilometers. This hike will go at a moderate pace of around 4-4.5 km/h and is suitable for fit beginners.

This hike takes us from Rosedale Station to Summerhill Station along the following route:

  • Meet at Rosedale Subway Station
  • N on Yonge St, take Aymer Ave E
  • Continue to Rosedale Valley Rd
  • Cross the Necropolis Cemetery
  • Pass Riverdale Farm
  • Take the steps down to the ravines
  • Take the path north as far as Pottery Road Bridge
  • Return by the Brick Works
  • Follow Moore Ravine all the way north
  • Exist at the pedestrian Bridge at Heath Street
  • Follow the Vale of Avoca ravine south
  • End back at Summerhill Subway Station.
