Itinerary:
“Release your inner Monkey! Treetop Trekking has been described as a jungle gym on steroids! Stride along the top of the trees with the use of rope bridges, zip lines, tarzan ropes, climbing nets, footbridges, and swings…” as they describe it on their website (http://treetoptrekking.com/barrie-features-courses.html).

In safety environment while you are equipped with a harness, you will progress through different levels of treetop courses.

The adventure will begin with a mandatory initiation given by a trained guide who will explain the safety rules and how to use your equipment.

Go beyond your limits, and spend an unforgettable time!!

TREETOP TREKKING AERIAL COURSES RULES:

1-There is a mandatory Training program all climbers must complete before progressing to the beginner and more advanced courses.

2-Wear comfortable climbing attire (longer shorts or pants) and running shoes or hikers, no open toe shoes are allowed. Crocs and Sandals are NOT Suitable. If you are wearing unsuitable shoes, you will NOT be allowed to climb any course (Flip flops and sandals are NOT allowed).

3- Feel free to bring along a pair of sport style gloves, biking or gym gloves work well (anything that is not too bulky and has a bit of a grip.) These are not mandatory and are strictly for added comfort, they also have inexpensive gloves for sale if you feel you need them.

4- They have a weight maximum of 250lbs, and a height requirement of 5 feet.

5- Pregnant women are not permitted to participate

6- Everyone has to sign a waiver on the site before beginning the TREETOP TREKKING AERIAL COURSES. All individuals with health problems must advise the Arbraska coordinator or manager.

7- They do sell water and sports drinks on site and they have an open area for leaving bags. Do not bring valuables as they do not have secure lock up areas.

8- Make sure your hair is tied back especially if you have long hair.

Our day will look like the following:

1- Car pool leaves Downsview at 12.00 pm SHARP.

2- Arrive on-site by 2.00 pm.

3- Short hike to Training Centre

4- Preparation and Initiation

5- Climbing / obstacle course / 11 ziplines

6- Dinner in Barrie

7- Drive back to Downsview

The cost of the event= the cost of the course (57.75)+ $1.73 TOC transaction fee + the carpool

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $58.05 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Wednesday, May 1, 2024). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.

Notes:
The event proceeds rain or shine!
- Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the TOC's possession by that date. No exceptions.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with full refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where TOC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refund of money if you cancel.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in TOC events.

Last minute cancelation makes a huge problem and headache for the coordinator. So please be considerate and don’t sign up if you are not sure about joining.
