Itinerary:

Hong (a trusted TOCer) has reserved a 4-bedroom rustic cottage (w/full kitchen, and bathroom, 2 double beds & 3 single beds) for this weekend. The cottage is situated close to Haliburton, ON (about 3.5 hours north east of Toronto). Depending on weather, you may choose to hike, bike, fish, x-country ski, skate, snow shoe, etc. What ever activity you choose, bring your own equipment. The beds come with sheets and sleeping bags if you feel more comfortable bringing your own sleeping bag, you are more than welcome to do so. We'll meet at the carpool. We will buy our groceries in Haliburton as they have 2 grocery stores. Please note, the cottage does not have a shower facility, nor does it have running water. So needles to say, we will need to buy lots of water. It is VERY RUSTIC.

Note: THIS IS A PAY-AT-CARPOOL-LOCATION EVENT. So do NOT make the payment to the treasurer. The money will be collected on November 18th morning at 9am. Cost ($75) includes insurance and groceries. $50 insurance will be given back if no damages are incurred to the cottage during our stay. We will shop together for the groceries; and what remains will go towards carpool cost. We are getting the cottage itself for FREE, as a favor. This is an opportunity not to be missed!
