Itinerary:

PHOTO NIGHT: “REFLECTIONS”

Let’s spend an evening together in High Park photographing the moonlit reflections on Grenadier Pond. (If we are lucky we will have fresh snow!) Reflections in water, windows, mirrors etc can transform your image from the mundane to striking so this will be great practice. Afterwards we’ll go to a nearby pub on Bloor St and review everyone's shots.

You don’t need a DSLR camera for this hike but you will need a tripod. You may also want to bring a cable release so that you can try shots with smaller apertures and longer exposures.

We will meet at Runnymede Station and walk down to High Park, where we will split into groups of two or three and head south towards The Queensway - please do not go off on your own in the park! In total we may end up walking 6-8 km but is not meant to be any kind of a workout. It will likely be cold and you’ll be standing around so remember to dress warmly. Also, make sure you bring icers as it could be slippery on the trail.

Here are some ideas to get you inspired… Reflections - examples.

NO SHOWS: Make sure to remove yourself from the event before the cutoff to avoid a No Show. In addition, people who regularly drop out of my events a few days before they occur will be moved to the waiting list for future events.
