Railways and Cemetaries (10 KM) (12/4/2011)

Itinerary:

Let's go for a Sunday morning stroll!

We'll leave from Dundas West Subway Station at 10:00 AM sharp. We'll start on the Western Toronto Railpath, then make our way through Prospect Cemetary, before joining up on the beginning of the Beltline trail. The hike will end at Eglinton West Subway Station.   1. East on Bloor to the start of the Western Toronto Railpath.
  2. North on the Railpath until it ends 2km later.
  3. Northeast to Earlscourt Park, then head into Prospect Cemetary.
  4. North through Prospect Cemetary all the way to Eglinton West.
  5. Northwest to the start of the Beltline trail.
  6. East on the Beltline trail to the Allen Expressway.
  7. South to Eglinton West Subway Station.

We'll hike at a leisurely pace, probably around 4 km/hr, or maybe a bit faster. The total distance of this hike is approximately 10 km. The hike will go forward rain or shine, however, if there is a risk of thundershowers, I will cancel the event.

    Dundas West Subway Station is located on both the Bloor/Danforth Subway line. We will meet outside the main subway station entrance on Dundas St. W., in front of the McDonald's (which is attached to the subway entrance).
