Itinerary:

So I just got my work schedule and found I don't have to work Friday, so I thought, "Awesome sauce, I'm totally running an event."

The hike will run from Leslie Subway Station in Henry Farm and end beside my local pub at Yonge/Sheppard in Lansing.

This is not a hike for a pint, but if you would like to join me for a pint after the event, your welcomed to it.

This is the first time I've completed this route as a TOC event, so it should be fun.

  1. Start at Leslie Station
  2. South on the Don Valley Trail to York Mills
  3. Further south to the New Rail Trail
  4. West to Leslie and Banbury Rd
  5. West through Windfields Park to Bayview/York Mills
  6. North through the neighborhood of St. Andrew's to the 401
  7. West through the neighborhood of Lansing
  8. Finish at Yonge/Sheppard

We'll be walking a decent pace of 4.0-5.0 km per hour for a grand total of 14 KMs. Also a flashlight is recommended for this event
