High Park --- Hike For A Pint to Duffs for wings (10 KM) (7/4/2011)

Itinerary:

So in your recovery from the Canada Day Long Weekend, come on out for a hike for a pint and wings.

The back story is that a couple TOCers showed me a place where you get a pint and then a pound of wings cost just $2.

We'll meet at high park Subway Station and follow this route.

  1. South through high park trails
  2. Across the waterfront trail
  3. Through Exhibition place up bathurst to college to Duffs famous for wings

    Total Distance Covered 9.8 KM

    We'll plan to walk at a pace of 4.0-5.0

    Anyone who signs up for this hike, must be willing to come and socialize at the pub or you'll be taking a spot away from someone else.

  • Good footwear
  • Water 1-2 L and snacks
  • Flashlight or headlight
  • Recommended Items to Bring:

    Event Directions:

    high park Subway Station is located on the Bloor/Danforth Subway line, 9 stops west of St. George and 1 stop east of Kipling.

    From the East - get off the subway turn right go up the stairs and through the exit, take the exit marked high park ave, meet at the bell telephone booths

    From the West - get off the sub way turn left exit the station through the exit, take the exit marked high park ave, meet at the bell telephone booths


    Notes:

    This hike will go forth in all weather conditions

    Please arrive on time, I will turn my cell phone off once we begin hiking.
