Itinerary:

Alison M has started this walking group last year. Now that the great walking weather is here (no rain today, Yippee!), I'm thinking it's time to re-start it up for 2011.

For this first hike, we'll meet outside Loafer's Lake Rec Centre, and then head north on Etobicoke Creek Trail toward Valleywood. We'll spend about 1 hour walking and see how far we get and then double back. We'll walk about 8 -10 km in total, at a pace of about 5km/hr. NOTE that only part of the trail is paved. The section North of Mayfield Road towards Valleywood is a packed bike trail. There are 2 small hilly sections and we'll see if we can work in a couple of extra hills for good measure!.

Afterwards, if enough people want to, we can find somewhere nearby for a cold drink.

Non-Bramptonions note: you're welcome to join us but there won't be a carpool - you'll have to get out to Brampton under your own steam...
