Itinerary:

CARDIO BOOTCAMP! - this event is part of an ongoing series of mid-week urban and park walking outings - now with a focus on cardio fitness, hill climbing and bootcamp exercises.

This more difficult version of the event, is designed to improve your flexibility, endurance and overall fitness abilities - right here in an urban park setting.

Whilst being motivated, we will push through a series of full body exercises and aim for your personal best and not competing against anyone else. The style and format will be that of interval training and be kept at a brisk pace. We will have short breaks for 1 or 2 minutes for rest and hydration. And yes, bringing water bottle(s) or camel back HYDRATION is an absolute must!

Starting off with some jogging and full body stretching, followed by a cardio/bootcamp drill session of punches, squats, lunges, jumps, etc - we'll then head down and around the trails.

In the span of 2 hours, we will complete a cardio circuit incorporating power walking, hill climbing, climbing stairs in an amphitheater, followed by a break of sit ups and push ups before finishing off with another series of hill climbs and finally,.... some yoga cool down stretches.

So come on by and have a great time! - the pace will be fast and we will work every muscle group. This is excellent conditioning for the many physical outdoor activities you are likely to do in our club. It is also meant to be a combination of exercises that motivates and challenges your physical and mental abilities in a fun group setting.

NOTE: This is a D4 Event - It is not suitable for beginners(first-time power walkers, hikers or those not in shape to do cardio conditioning and bootcamp style exercises.
