The terrain is hilly and variable. Spring flowers aplenty!

We'll meet at the parking lot at km 66.2 Map 4 on Quarry Rd, and shuttle to the parking lot at km 41.7 Map 3 on Roland Rd. We'll hike back through Louth and Ball's Falls Conservation Areas, and continue along the crest of the Niagara Escarpment past Cave Springs, with excellent views of the lowlands and Lake Ontario.

We will keep a brisk pace of 4.5 km per hour. This hike is suitable for hikers who are confident in their ability to hike 24K averaging 4.5 km per hour.
