Itinerary:

A fun, fit and fast winter's evening walk in High Park(Toronto Bloor West)

  • This event will not be suitable for beginners with little experience in winter walking conditions. However if you're new to TOC and/or are a FIT beginner, please email me directly with your request to participate - this is welcomed.
  • Starting at the park entrance at High Park Avenue and Bloor Street, we will walk through various trails that I have designed to include many short hills, twists and turns and power walk for about 2.5 hours. We'll aim to walk for 8km.
  • We will NOT be leaving the park for this event - starting at the park entrance and finishing at the park entrance - therefore drop outs are possible.
  • We are expecting to power walk over varied terrain(flat and hilly, grass, gravel, and paved road way). Needless to say, SNOW and possibly ICY conditions will exist. The evenings are darker so it's a good idea to bring a flashlight/headlight.
  • Optional coffee/cake social in Bloor West after.
  • And yes, this event does still goes ahead even if the weather is foul - makes it more challenging right...
