Itinerary:

Okay, it's been a little while since I've snuck out for frisbee with the TOC. That just means it's past time! Because it's winter, this will involve lots of goofing around and a bit more silliness than usual. (That's probably a plus.)

Experience with Ultimate Frisbee is not necessary. If you've thrown a frisbee before that's helpful, but not required. The only thing you'll need is energy and a willingness to run back and forth. It's quite possible we'll do some slipping and sliding in the snow, so come prepared. It's a pretty easy game and I (or some of the others) will be able to show our beginners the basics.

Try to dress in layers. Once we start running around you'll feel a lot warmer!

We'll begin by tossing the disc around a bit to warm up and let any new players get used to things. I'll bring a couple of discs, but if you've one of your own bring it along! Especially during warm up, it's nice to have a few up in the air.

(See the details below about the 'meet up' area.)

Required Items to Bring:
  • Water
  • Decent clothes and footwear for playing around in the snow.
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
  • a Frisbee

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Let's meet at the entrance to Broadview Subway Station, and then move together south towards the park. (Previously we've met on the southside of the tennis courts once there! Don't expect me on the field until 15 minutes after the event start so that I can wait for stragglers before walking down.)
