Itinerary:
My son, Iain, and I will be heading to this year’s Cavalcade of Lights to see the show, watch the fireworks and do some skating. We will meet at 6:30 at the south entrance of the Eaton Centre. By 6:40 we will make our way over to the square. The musical entertainment starts at 7:00, the fireworks are at 8, and the skating is officially right after that. In past years, skating has occurred throughout the evening. We plan to stay until about 9:00 but given that I will be with a child, my end time will be influenced by his energy level. You, of course, can stay later and enjoy the festivities. If you have never attended this event before, be warned that the crowds are usually quite large and it can be challenging to stay together as a group. For other details and a list of the performers, you can check the following site: http://www.toronto.ca/special_events/cavalcade_lights/2010/
