Itinerary:

A shorter afternoon hike to catch some early leaf changes or just to walk off that turkey dinner if you do that kind of thing on Sunday. The hike will start from Colonial Danforth park, along Highland Creek and down to the Bluffs. At the half way end point, we will just hit the starting point of East Point Park and then make our way back. The trip will not include the core part of East Point Park and the water filtration plant

It's an easy hike we'll do at a moderate pace with few rest stops - we'll stop for picture taking, lunch etc so you should be able to hike for 2+ hrs without stopping. It's rated a beginner hike, but whatever goes down must come back up, and there is no easy way down to the Bluffs, so if you have knee or hip issues you might want to pass, or take some poles with you. It's a lengthy hike with a spectacular view of the river, wild bushes, butterfles, bluffs, beaches and the lake.
