Itinerary:
We'll meet at Old Mill subway station, and walk about 5 minutes to the Humber Valley Trail. We'll put on our skates, and get going on the paved pathway!

The trail is a flat and scenic multi-use pathway the follows the river, so we'll aim to go at a good speed that challenges us, but that also enables us to appreciate the beauty around us.

On the trail, we'll follow the pathway north to Weston Road. We'll turn around, and skate back south along the same trail, pass Old Mill, and come to the lake.

Depending on how much energy people have at this point (and depending on how much light there still is), we have the option to continue inline skating along the Martin Goodman trail, by the lake.

We'll then loop back to the Humber River Trail, and skate back to Old Mill subway station.

This is an evening skate for all levels! If we find that members of the group are moving at very different paces, we'll split the group, and meet up again when done.

Notes:
1. Rentals will not be arranged for this trip. Please bring your own inline skates, or make sure that you can borrow someone else's in order to participate.
2. It's likely that there will be some falls on this trip. Helmets are mandatory for this event. Please bring a helmet, and be prepared to wear your helmet the whole time that we are skating. Without a helmet, you will not be able to participate in this event. Knee pads, elbow pads, and wristguards are also recommended unless you're an expert skater.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This trip is weather dependent! The trip will be cancelled if it is raining, as the paths will be wet and slippery, which is neither safe nor ideal for our inline skate event. If you sign up for this event, please do check your e-mail on Wednesday evening for final confirmation of the trip.
